This was a big weekend for my mom. It was her birthday and her first mother's day. (It was also my 5 month birthday, which was pretty special too!) Dad and I wanted to make it very special for her, so we rented a cabin in June Lake (close to Mammoth) and spent a long weekend in the woods.
We did a lot of fun things. We went bouldering, where I watched mom and dad climb some cool boulders. I also blew it up out there with a major blow out diaper. Mom complained that my timing was terrible, but I couldn't help it- honest.
We also went to the hot springs, which was an adventure. There was a group of hippies out there skinny dipping so we didn't stay too long. But I did get my picture with one of them. Oh wait, that was my dad.
The hot springs tired me out, so I had to take a double nap that day. (And as you can see, this was my last trip wearing my REI snowsuit- I'm going to miss that thing!)
We bought mom a handmade scarf for mother's day, which came in perfect because it snowed that day. I had to share mom's scarf, it was freezing outside!
