Climbing in Mammoth
Here I am practicing my dyno skills on some stone near Mammoth. They call this the Bachar boulders. That Bachar guy must be weak, because this climbing thing is pretty easy.
The First Supper
Tonight I had my first taste of Rice Cereal. The critics said I would make a mess, and would just spit up most of it. Well, I proved them wrong! I practically grabbed that tiny spoon myself and shoveled more into my mouth. I couldn't eat fast enough. I was born to eat!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm getting HUNGRY just typing this message.

Fatty
My mom
We did a lot of fun things. We went bouldering, where I watched mom and dad climb some cool boulders. I also blew it up out there with a major blow out diaper. Mom complained that my timing was terrible, but I couldn't help it- honest.
We also went to the hot springs, which was an adventure. There was a group of hippies out there skinny dipping so we didn't stay too long. But I did get my picture with one of them. Oh wait, that was my dad.
The hot springs tired me out, so I had to take a double nap that day. (And as you can see, this was my last trip wearing my REI snowsuit- I'm going to miss that thing!)
We bought mom a handmade scarf for mother's day, which came in perfect because it snowed that day. I had to share mom's scarf, it was freezing outside!
Beach Camping
Our house had to be pumped full of poison (some call this 'fumigation') and so we wouldn't get sick mom and dad moved us out for two whole weeks. The first week me and mom were in Mexico. The second week we joined dad and all went camping at San Elijo State Beach in North San Diego.

We were definitely glamping (glamour camping) with our luxury set up on the beach.
We also celebrated mom's birthday at the campground, with dad planning a surprise party and making a gourmet meal for all of us.
I love camping!
No Hablo
I just took my first international trip, accompanying my mom to Mexico. She was working hard while I enjoyed my vacation. I went swimming for the first time in the Kinninger's pool. They are friends of my mom's and I had a great time at their place. I really enjoyed swimming and afterward I zonked out for over 2 hours! Swimming sure is tiring.
All the ladies in Mexico loved me- calling me guerito (little blondie). I'm pretty noticeable in Mexico with my blonde hair, blue eyes and, of course, my great smile.
After spending some time in Loreto we took a 5 hour bus ride down to La Paz (that was NOT fun) where we stayed with our good friend Hoyt. Hoyt has a sweet place and he planned a pool party with other kids while I was there. These twins loved me so much they were fighting over who got to hold me for the picture. They made mom real nervous, but it sure did make for a great picture.
Mexico, te amo! I can't wait for my next trip.
