3 Mini-Stories

1. One day my Dad got a new pair of hair clippers and went a little crazy with them. Luckily I only have peach fuzz or I'm sure I would have been the final victim of a buzz cut. I think my Dad wanted to look a little more like me as well, and he said he might make me a comfort blanket out of all the pug fur one day.

2. After a few minutes of screaming and crying, my Mom was at her breaking point and almost dropped me off at the "Safe Surrender Site". Good thing I'm still here. I heard life at the fire station is tough. But, we made up and went to our favorite Mexican place for Margaritas afterwards. Life is good again.

3. My first camping trip in Joshua Tree was a little rough. The air mattress was a bit big for the back of my Dad's Element, so it smushed us together like a taco all night. So, Dad had to sleep outside with the coyotes and Uncle Pug. My Mom and I were happy and warm all night though.

Monkeys and Whales, oh my!

The weather has gotten nice and I've been out enjoying it! My mom got us a zoo pass, so now we can walk to the zoo any time we feel like it. I love going, I especially love the peacocks and ducks that walk around, that i can get close to. Behind me is a chimp, my closest cousin, but he's a lot furrier and smellier than me. But he makes similar noises, so I kind of like him. :)

And here's one of me and my dad and a p
anda. Those panda's sure are cute. They had a baby there about the same age as me, he was sleeping- we sleep a lot at this age.

We also got to go whale watching with Frances with her Ocean Connectors program. We saw whales and dolphins (OK, they were a little too far for me, I didn't really see them), and I loved the boat and the water and all the kids. When I'm older I'm going to kiss a whale and scratch his tongue. I heard they like that.

And here's a few shots my mom loves.....

Birthdays

Today is my 3 month birthday and we recently celebrated my dad's 32nd birthday (wow, he's getting old!). I got us a matching outfit for his birthday present. Me and my daddy are a pretty cute pair!

Another Big Adventure: The Yurt and My Cousin Merritt

I just got home from ANOTHER big adventure. I've already had three big adventures (and lots of small ones) and I'm turning three months old today!

On this adventure I went with my mom and dad to our yurt where there was lots of snow. Daddy got a bit of cabin fever, but we had a good time. We then headed to Durango with my grandma and papa, and our good friends the Sandels. The skiing was amazing, mom and dad had a great time.

I then went to Farmington with my mom for a few days where my grandma had a big party for me and everyone got to meet me.

Then we headed up to Denver where I met my cousin Merritt, who is 5 months old, for the first time- we were a pretty cute pair! I also went to my Aunt Cara's baby shower, I can't wait for my cousin Will to get here in April!

My papa and Uncle Kellen also had a pretty big adventure; while they were in Denver they both had my name permanently etched onto their bodies. Boy, they must really love me!
