My Grandma Gayle

Last weekend my grandma Gayle came to visit and we had TONS of fun. We headed out for the Taste of Hillcrest with all mom's friends and everyone got to try all of the amazing food Hillcrest has to offer (which I got to enjoy approximately 4 to 6 hours later). We also tried out the Ergo for the first time. Mom really liked it, its easy and comfy, but I wasn't a big fan. I like my Moby!

We also hit the zoo, and I loved looking at the turtles with my mom. They were freshwater turtles (not quite as cool as sea turtles), but still pretty awesome and I was fascinated. Again, check out my sweet ball cap- mom thinks I looks so grown up in it.

And grandma helped mom pack up the house for the pending fumigation (don't even get me started about that!) and found all kinds of cool clothes and stuff that mom had stuck away in the wrong place back when she was pregnant and a bit wacky. Here's a great Cat in the Hat shirt I almost didn't get to wear because I'm growing so fast.

Family Tree

My grandma Gayle visited this weekend and brought me a very special outfit. We took pictures in this onsie, that was originally my papa John's. Here are pictures of my papa, my uncle Kellen and now me in the same outfit.

New Best Friends

Gustav Von Pugglesworth finally has accepted Bryce as a new member of the family. It took him 4 months to come to terms, but now Gustav has relinquished the crown as king of the house, and is content with his new buddy.

My first sea turtle!

I got to see my first turtle today and it was amazing! Mom took me out to see the sea turtle monitoring in San Diego Bay. I saw the Ocean Connectors program in action and met lots of mom's good work friends. And best of all, I got to see a HUGE sea turtle and I was fascinated with her! Here is a picture of the Ocean Connectors students taken just after I left. Unfortunately mom didn't get a pic of me with the turtle. :(

Lunch'n with da Ladies

I have been a busy man with a number of lunch dates recently. All the ladies just love me, they can't get enough of me!

Here's a pic from my sushi lunch with mom and Aunt Cheryl. I was sportin' my new baseball cap. It's pretty sweet.

And here's a couple from my pizza lunch with mom and Aunt Rach. I wore my turtle shirt in honor of my Aunt Rachel.

Chillaxing at the Beach

Here I am doing my two favorite things, relaxing and chilling, or "chillaxing". This time we chose the beach, where I felt the rush of the ocean waves for the first time. I can't wait until I can catch some gnarly tubes with my Dad. Maybe next year?

Camp Trip Gone Bad

Well, after purchasing the ultimate mega tent from REI. The "Kingdom 6" we decided to take it for a test ride this weekend in the Cuyamaca's. Unfortunately it was 30 degrees outside and our blow-up mattress had a slow leak. Imagine sleeping on the hard bumpy ground, only colder and more miserable. Luckily my Mom snuggled with me in her sleeping bag all night, but I got claustrophobic and cried all night. We all only got approximately 1 hour of sleep. Camping is fun!
