Egg Hunt

Today I went to my first Easter Egg Hunt in the park with mom, Aunt Cher and Uncle Mo. This might be a rather silly tradition (we realized this when explaining to our Mexican friends- for whom Easter is a religious holiday- that in America on Eater we hunt for eggs and take pictures with a giant bunny) but I had a great time.

My first haircut

So I made it 1 year, 4 months and 16 days before my mom made me get my hair cut. Today I went to see my good friend Denise so she could give me a little trim. Here are some pics of the before, during and after. Thanks Denise, it looks great!

Big Swimmer

I like to let my buddha belly hang out at the pool every now and then. Here I am practicing my jumps and underwater dives at the YMCA.

Happy Birthday Grandma!

We just celebrated my grandma's 60th birthday! Hmmmm, its hard for me to understand how old 60 YEARS old is.....I'm just a little over 60 WEEKS old- wow, it must be OLD. At any rate, I had a blast celebrating grandma's old age, I got to hang with all my family and my cousins- Ty, Quinn and Merritt! We went to Uncle Kellen's show, the bounce house, hung out in the hot tub, collected rocks and lots more. Serious good times.

Sedona

Me and mom headed to Sedona, where we met up with Aunt Lauren and Uncle Jeff for some hiking, hot tubbing and fun! Grandma and Papa came through and got me to go pick up Naomi and Uncle Kellen in Phoenix (and let mom have some fun on her own- thanks grandma and papa!). We had a great time- that place sure is amazing. We visited a vortex (or maybe two, its hard to tell) and there was a HUGE snow storm while we were there (spring skiing!)- I do love the snow. I was so tired on our last night that I couldn't even enjoy the beer tasting at the local brewery.

Extreme Climbing

I'm not sure if there is a climbing gene- or, actually, what a gene is- but mom says I've got it. I love to climb on everything, from the coffee table and couch to my changing table and highchair to stairs and ladders when out and about. Here is a quick video of me scaling my highchair- check out that mantle! Mom is mad she encouraged me, because now I can't be stopped.

Whales, Whales, WHALES

Me and my mom, together with my grandma and my good friends Mike and Kay, headed to Laguna San Ignacio in Mexico to see the gray whales. LSI is known for the friendly whales, and mamas and babies come right up to the boat to play and be pet. The first day on the water we played with La Coqueta (the teaser) and her baby for hours. At the end of it, Jesus (our guide) said we should all pick a name for the baby and everyone agreed his name should be Bryce! I got to pet Bryce a couple times, and I loved pointing to the mama as she swam by. I didn't like it when they sprayed us with their whale breath, but mom assured me they were just blowing me kisses and I thought that was OK.

We stayed at Pachico's camp, where I hung out with Tasi who is going to be a whale watcher just like me when he's older.
